I have been divorced for a year and felt the same way you did right after my divorce. But I had to keep going for the sake of my child. Each day it gets easier but you have to work on making yourself feel better or the hurt will sit there. Try counseling it may help you through this time. It helped me a lot I feel much better about myself and rarely think about the ex and his life cause I am busy living my own. With time i does get better. |

I am on 3 months, Christmas and 5 boys my wife left behind. She left for a man 30 years older then her. It still hurts as day 1. I would sell my soul to make it all go away. I have prayed, begged, pleaded, made deals with just about any religious belief around. I am in no better position. There is no Karma, and I have strong doubts about a God that allows children to suffer as much if not more than I. There is no rhyme or reason, and she has NO concern for her children. Sorry to sound so down, but I myself am hoping for a better day. BTW she actually gave her children 3 hours of her time for Christmas. Lucky Them!

I too am hurting and agngry with my STBX. He met his girlfriend and new love of his life on Nov the 5th and by mid december had bought her a ring and calls her Bridezilla, all the while denying wanting to marry her to me. My STBX has not even filed for the divorce yet. On Christmas he was supposed to stay and have Christmas dinner with us, instead he took new girlfriend to his cousins house and his family is happy to see him happy. By the way we have been married for 27 years. I now feel that I may never find someone trustworthy or have love in my life again.
I have returned to church and daily prayer which is helping although I still angry every time I see him. |
